  Post Office Credit Cards

The Post Office™ CreditCard

The 2in1 credit card through The Post Office™ is a new kind of credit card, offering a great standard rate for your everyday spending and an even lower rate for the bigger things you occasionally buy.

On the one hand it’s a great value credit card…

  • 0% p.a. on purchases for first six months
  • 0% p.a. on balance transfers for first six months
  • Free purchase protection **
  • Optional payment protection**
  • A choice of three cards to meet everyone’s needs
  • No annual fee
  • Competitive standard rate of 14.9% APR typical (variable)

On the other hand it’s like a personal loan…

  • You can choose to use it like a pre-arranged loan for up to two purchases at any time, costing from £500 to a total of £2000. All you’ll pay is 6.8% p.a. (variable).

The Post Office™ MasterCard® is provided by Bank of Ireland. **Provided by AXA Insurance UK plc

Other benefits include:

  • Use your card virtually anywhere
  • Add up to 3 additional cardholders for free; you can arrange this once your account has been opened. The initial cardholder is responsible for all spending and transactions made on the account
  • Chip and PIN to reduce card crime and fraud

Subject to status. Applicants must be 18 years or over and a UK resident.

We don't know of any other UK credit card like the Post Office™ Credit Card. It is certainly worth checking yourself to see whether the features of the card are what you are looking for. After all, it's not often that you can get a credit card and a loan from one application form!
